Becoming a Member
To join the B&ORHS, or to renew your existing membership, we offer two convenient options. You may join or renew online, or you may print and mail a paper membership application.
Memberships are established on a rolling basis, meaning they are renewed annually in the month the member joined and not on a set calendar year. Memberships may only be renewed on an annual basis and may not be purchased for multiple years. Reminders are sent about 60 days in advance of renewal and will continue until that renewal is 30 days past due. At that point, the member is considered inactive, is dropped from the roster, and loses their membership benefits.
If a member is rejoining after a long absence, they will need to visit the Company Store to purchase those magazines and other items that they missed while their membership was not current.
We also like to keep an inventory of the special skills, interests, and talents of our diverse membership. There is a space to provide this information on the membership application form when you join, or on the interest profile section of your renewal notice.
PLEASE NOTE: Membership fees, once accepted, are not refundable.
